Who Participates?
Northland Rec Lab is a non-profit 501c3, not affiliated with any particular church or organization. Rec Lab is open to all men and women ages 18 to 99+ (some years, we have had three generations from the same family!). Within the Rec Lab community, people are unsorted as to age, ability, gender, sexual orientation, race, or occupation. Labbers come from all walks of life, with a wide range of ages, interests, talents, and personalities. Participants are encouraged to take new ideas and skills back to their work, their volunteer groups, their families and friends, as well as for their own personal renewal and enrichment.
Accommodations and Dining
Northland Rec Lab Camp meets at Camp Wapogassett (http://www.campwapo.org/) located along the shores of Lake Wapogasset and Bear Trap Lake, near Amery, Wisconsin. A range of lodging choices is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodations range from rustic cabin and lodge with shared bathrooms, to "en suite" style living in Crossfire or Anderson buildings. Prices reflect the differences in accommodations. The three hearty meals provided each day by Camp Wapo staff are delicious, healthful and can accommodate vegetarian preferences and special dietary needs. See the Registration form for details.
